The third preparation exercise is called “The Immortal Crane Drinks Water.” In China, the crane is one of the most sacred birds. Since ancient times, the crane is a symbol of longevity. In this exercise we will learn this quality from the crane. Also, this exercise helps to improve neck and spine condition, blood circulation, to develop sensitivity and ability to think in images. Through our own sensations and visualisation, we can learn to deeply feel the nature around us.

1: Place your feet shoulder width apart.
2: First, rotate your head to the left eight times.
3: Now rotate your head to the right eight times.
4: Bend the neck forward eight times.
5: Relax. Stand up straight.
6: Return to your natural posture.
