The fourth preparation exercise is called “The Divine Dragon Stirs The Sea.” The main qualities of the Chinese dragon are wisdom and goodwill. It brings good luck, wealth and prosperity. It also manages the water element, controls the rains and floods.
This exercise helps to heal the lumbar region, strengthen the kidneys, develop sensitivity and ability to think in images. Through our own feelings and visualisation, we can learn to deeply feel the qualities that are inherent in the image of the dragon.

1: Place your feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart.
2: Put your palms on the area of your kidneys.
3: First, rotate your body counterclockwise, to the left eight times.
4: Then to the right.
5: After finishing the last rotation, sharply shake yourself by dropping onto your heels.
6: Relax. Standup straight.
7: Return to your regular stance.
